China recorded 10 consecutive years of safe air links

Data was released by civil aviation authorities

According to mathematical theories, 10 can be considered an "happy" number: it is therefore perhaps no coincidence that in the last few hours the Chinese civil aviation authorities recalled that there are just ten consecutive years of safe air links. CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) has released some interesting statistics regarding the last decade and a further month. Up to last September, in fact, many hours of consecutive flight were recorded in total safety, to be precise just under 87 million (read also the article published by AVIONEWS). The merit would be all of the constant progress of the sector itself, in particular those relating to the period of the thirteenth five-year plan (the one between 2016 and the current year).

The same goes for transport capacities which have significantly improved compared to the past; adequate structures and ad hoc strategies did the rest, with the overall results which, as confirmed by CAAC, testify to a sustainable and efficient sector. There was also no lack of specific reforms to better manage airspace, without neglecting the important airworthiness certification. For the authorities of Asian country, the local civil aviation market would now be the second in the world and ready to climb the last and ambitious step.
