The Pope flies tomorrow to Kazakistan with ITA Airways's airplane
The flight operated by a A-330 with the new blue livery

The Supreme Pontiff will travel with ITA Airways for his next papal flight tomorrow on September 13 at 7:15 am from Rome-Fiumicino to Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport (Kazakistan). The flight will be operated on an A-330 airplane with the new blue livery and for the second time the Holy Father will depart from Terminal 5 of the "Leonardo da Vinci" Airport. The landing is scheduled for 5:45 pm local time.
Fabio Maria Lazzerini, ITA Airways CEO, and Emiliana Limosani, ITA Airways Chief Commercial Officer, will be greeting the Holy Father at Fiumicino Airport. A crew of 12 people made up of three pilots and nine flight attendants will accompany the Sovereign of the State of Vatican City on his journey. Commander Massimiliano Marselli, with 18.000 hours of flight experience, will be the supervisor of on-board activities.
Additionally, the papal delegation and the representatives of the Italian and International press will travel together with Pope Francis. Furthermore, ITA Airways’ team dedicated to special flights will be on board.
To accompany the Supreme Pontiff in his trip is for ITA Airways an honor and a demonstration of the recognition of the Company’s values which places sustainability at the center of its strategy, as the Holy Father constantly recalls in his testimonies.
