Aircraft. Tomorrow an air transport strike in Italy
According to estimates more than 250,000 passengers will suffer inconvenience, cancelled and delayed flights

A strike day tomorrow, Friday 21 October, for the air transport sector. According to some estimates, more than 250,000 passengers will suffer inconvenience, cancelled and delayed flights. The Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) scheduled a protected time slots for passengers from 7:00 to 10:00am and from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Among the airports affected are Brindisi, Rome-Ciampino, Milan-Malpensa, Naples-Capodichino, Perugia, Pescara, Turin-Caselle and Venice-Tessera.
The Italian Flight Assistance Company (ENAV) announces that a 24-hour national strike is scheduled for next Friday 21 October 2022, called by the trade unions Filt-Cgil, Fit-Cisl, and Uiltrasporti, and three national protests, from 8:00am to 8:00pm, called by the Ugl-Air Transport and Unica trade unions. On the same day, the Unica trade union organization (Fast-Confsal) called a national mobilization of flight attendants from 8:00am to 8:00pm to protest against the lack of agreement between ENAV and the workers' representatives.
