Today 4-hour airstrike in Italy

Time off work will begin at 1:00pm and end at 5:00pm

A 4-hour strike in the air transport sector kicks off in Italy today, 3 May. Time off from work will start at 1:00 pm and end at 5:00 pm. Arms crossed are the flight controllers of the national company for flight assistance at the Rome control center, the pilots and flight attendants of the low-cost airline Vueling and the on-board personnel of Air Dolomiti (Lufthansa Group). Possible inconvenience for passengers.

The demonstration was called by the Cobas union. Furthermore, the mobilization of the employees of the Enav control center in Rome forced the national airline ITA Airways to cancel 47 domestic flights. However, the company has set up an "extraordinary plan" to rebook on the first available flights: "90% will be able to fly on the same day of May 3", reassured the Italian airline.
