"Paris Air Show": AVIONEWS at Le Bourget

Report from our correspondents on the aeronautical event - PHOTO GALLERY

Doors open today at the "Paris Air Show 2023": the 54th edition of the "Paris Aerospace Show" kicks off and is held at the French capital's Le Bourget airport from 19 to 25 June 2023. The first four days are dedicated to only institutional representatives, industry and companies in the sector.

There are many events scheduled, even if there are not many new ones. In fact, the development programs for new aircraft by the main world manufacturers such as the European Airbus, the American Boeing, the Brazilian Embraer and the Franco-Italian ATR, at the moment have mainly implemented solutions to limit the environmental impact of current aircraft. The aircraft of the future are still in their infancy and development stage.

No news from Russia for civil aircraft. The Chinese Comac showcases its C-919, which entered service in May, after 13 years of development and seven years late. On the other hand, many companies in the alternative energy and biofuel sectors were present. According to experts, however, it will be a record-breaking edition for airlines' aircraft orders.
