ITA Airways: some people are leaving

Nicolò Mardegan is abandoning Communications at a awkward moment

The current Chief of Communications and Director of Institutional Affairs of the national air carrier ITA Airways, Nicolò Mardegan, will leave the company to take up a new position in the state-owned energy company Enel. At the moment no further details are known about the exact tasks that will be entrusted to him.

Graduated in law and with experience in the Mardegan-Conti law firm (2010-2017), Mardegan joined ITA Airways on 2 November 2021. Previously he worked for almost two years with the Leonardo aerospace and defense group, where he the role of responsible for relations with Parliament, development of institutional projects and country system initiatives.

In the past he collaborated with the Ministry of Defense, with that of Infrastructure and Transport, with the European Parliament, with the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, in Ernst Young as Business Development and Institutional Relations (2018-2020), for six years on the board of directors of the "Carlo Bazzi" Industrial Institute.

Mardegan is leaving because he can't find certainties in the future of the air carrier company and has sought support from the political world around which he gravitates, to manage the world of relations of the most important Italian investee company.

Notice: pay attention to Enel's new management and the purchase they are making. Also because yesterday he was talking to the television program "Report" about the president Altavilla being sent away from ITA. Attention also because Enel is controlled by the Ministry of the Treasury which appoints the top management.
