UK AIRPORTS REGISTERED A SLOW DOWN DUE TO FOOT AND MOUTH PROBLEMS
LONDON, GREAT BRITAIN, The UK's biggest airports operator, BAA, has put attention on the costs of the foot-and-mouth epidemic which has swept Britain and hit the tourist traffic. April passenger traffic at its seven airports, was up by just one per cent on last year, contrasting deeply with April 2000 when traffic grew by 10.2 per cent.
