Russia-Ukraine: Putin would open to dialogue

Kremlin accusations: "Kiev should lift the ban on negotiations"

All's fair in love and war. And so it also happens between two peoples who were once friends and now at war with each other: Ukrainians and Russians. President Vladimir Putin said he was ready for dialogue to find a diplomatic solution to the conflict, while at the same time accusing Kiev of having vetoed the negotiation. The Kremlin is asking for its revocation, to start peace talks, but Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky is asking for the same thing.

"The President of Ukraine issued a decree prohibiting peace negotiations with us. Well, how can one negotiate if they do not want it and if they issued a normative document prohibiting these negotiations. We declare our readiness for these negotiations. We are ready, also taking advantage of the offer of our Chinese friends", declared Putin, interviewed by the Chinese state television broadcaster "Cctv".
