Riyadh Air 25 A-350/1000 airplanes; Lot first order for 40 A-220 - PHOTOS

AviLease, the global aircraft lessor headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has announced an initial order for 10 A-350F freighters and 30 A-320neo Family aircraft. The agreement which also foresees a future increase to 22 A-350F freighters and 55 A-320neo Family aircraft was signed at the 2025 "Paris Airshow".

Riyadh Air, the new premium international airline based in Saudi Arabia, has placed a firm order for 25 A-350/1000 aircraft. The agreement can potentially increase to 50 A-350/1000.

Riyadh Air will become the first airline in Saudi Arabia to operate the A-350/1000. It also supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambition to reach 300 million air passengers annually by the end of the decade, positioning the country as a global aviation and tourism hub.

LOT Polish Airlines has placed a firm order with Airbus for 20 A-220/100s and 20 A-220/300s, marking the first time Poland’s national carrier has selected aircraft as part of its fleet modernisation. 

The agreement could foresee a future increase to 84 A-220 aircraft.

The model is currently in successful service with 24 carriers globally, operating on more than 1,600 routes and serving over 470 destinations.
