Aircraft and transport strike planned for tomorrow in Italy

Flight crews of easyJet and Wizz Air are affected, as well as ground crews of other companies

An Italian strike is planned for tomorrow involving staff at several airlines. It will last four hours, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Only easyJet will be on strike for 24 hours, from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM, called by Usb Lavoro privato. In this case, flight crews will be on strike, as will those at Wizz Air, but only for four hours (see AVIONEWS).

According to the ministry of Infrastructure and Transport website, the strike also affects ground staff, as announced by Fast-Confsal. The same applies to Aviation Services staff at Catania-Fontanarossa, Rome-Fiumicino, and Ciampino airports (sponsored by Osp Ugl-Ta), the Consulta company at Florence and Pisa airports (Osr Cub trasporti, Osr Filt-Cgil, Fit-Cisl, Uilt-Uil, Ugl-Ta, Usb), and Dussmann Service, a cleaning company at Milan-Malpensa (Adl Varese, Ost Filcams-Cgil).
