Aeroporti di Puglia: the direct Brindisi-Prague air connection resumes for the Summer
From early June, on a weekly basis, operated by Eurowings (Lufthansa)
The Salento Airport of Brindisi and Prague’s "Vaclav Havel" will be connected again by a scheduled direct flight, starting from June 3rd and for the entire Summer 2026 season, with a weekly frequency on Wednesdays. The link represents an important development tool for incoming tourism to Salento, increasingly appreciated also by travellers from Central Europe. Eurowings, a carrier of the Lufthansa Group, thus confirms its confidence in the Apulian market and in the growth potential of Brindisi airport, focusing on a destination that, over recent years, has recorded a steady increase in traffic flows.
“This confirmation –said the president of Aeroporti di Puglia, Antonio Maria Vasile- represents a tangible sign of the competitiveness and attractiveness of the Apulian airport system. The new connection strategically strengthens relations between Apulia and the main European reference markets, contributing to the consolidation of our international expansion plan, which we pursue with vision, consistency and targeted investments. I thank Eurowings for the renewed trust and for having recognised in the Brindisi airport system a reference hub for the development of tourist and business traffic. A special thanks goes to the Apulia Region, an institutional partner of primary importance for its constant commitment to promoting the competitiveness and attractiveness of our territory in global markets”.
