ITA Airways resumes direct flights between Rome and Riyadh
Starting from next September 15, five times per week
ITA Airways announces the resumption of its direct service between Rome-Fiumicino and Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, effective September 15, 2026.
The route will operate with five weekly frequencies according to the following schedule:
AZ838 departing from Rome-Fiumicino at 3:05 pm and arriving in Riyadh at 9:20 pm local time, operating daily except Mondays and Saturdays;
AZ839 departing from Riyadh at 1:45 am local time and arriving in Rome-Fiumicino at 6:15 am, operating daily except Tuesdays and Sundays. The resumption of this service confirms ITA Airways’ commitment to developing traffic between Italy and Saudi Arabia, a strategic and rapidly growing market, particularly for business travel.
Through its hub at Rome-Fiumicino, passengers travelling from Riyadh will also benefit from convenient connections to the airline’s main domestic, European, and intercontinental destinations.
