RUSSIA CLOSES ITS AIR SPACE TO GEORGIAN AIRLINES
MOSCOW, Russia has closed its airspace for Georgian airline companies last friday June 15. Deputy transport minister Pavel Rozhkov has told the press that the closure was due to the over $3,5 million debt of 15 Georgian airline companies to Russia. It was also reported to be a reply to the Georgian side’s decision to unilaterally cut the gross number of flights on the Russia-Georgia line.
