DUE TO A PUBLIC TRANSPORT STRIKE, THOUSANDS OF TOURISTS STRANDED AT BALEARIC ISLANDS

BALEARIC ISLANDS, SPAIN, Thousands of holidaymakers remained stranded in the Balearic islands due to 72-hour coach drivers' strike which ended at midnight on Sunday and which caused disruption for travels to Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza. Many flights have been canceled and airports have been assaulted by hordes of hungry tourists.
