FAA ORDERS INSPECTIONS OF BOEING 767 ELEVATORS

USA, FAA ordered airlines to inspect the elevator assemblies on Boeing 767 airliners. The decision was taken after receiving reprts of failed shear rivets being found in the tail elevator assemblies of three 767 airliners. carriers must do the inspections within 30 days and replace any problem units.
