AMSTERDAM AIRPORT REGISTERED PASSENGERS INCREMENT

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS, In the first six months of 2001, passenger traffic at Dutch Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport rose 3.9%. Traffic to North America fell 1%, while the Middle East showed a 2% reduction. Passengers which flights originate or terminate at Amsterdam increased almost 6 per cent. Cargo traffic registered a slightly loss of 0.8% to 592,200 tons.
