RUSSIAN COMPANIES TO MODERNIZE MI-2A HELICOPTERS

MOSCOW, Two russian companies, Rosvertol and Moscow Mil Helicopter Plant /MVZ/, have formed a joint venture to upgrade Mi-2A helicopter. The two industries hope to re-launch reliable Mi-2A design into serial production by installing new engines and replacing the avionics. Nearly 500 Mi-2 helicopters fit for the upgrade package. .
