Rosy prospects for Japanese air carriers

Tokyo, Japan - Forecast increase of 28% in passengers by 2007

Japanese Ministry of Transportation forecasts a 28% passenger increase by 2007 over 2000. International flight passengers might increase to 67 million by 2007 and domestic flight passengers to 107 million. The aim of this study is mainly to guide the modernization of Japanese airport facilities in the next 5 years. (004)
