UN aircraft with 36 tons of relief goods for the victims of Iran's earthquake landed in Teheran

Teheran, Iran - After taking off from Italy

An Ilyushin 76 of the United Nations took off last night at 10pm (Cet) from Brindisi airport, southern Italy, with 36 tons of relief goods for the victims of the dramatic earthquake which recently hit Iran. The aircraft transporting medicines, blankets, food and water purification systems, supplied by both UN and the Italian Red Cross, landed then this morning at Teheran airport. (007)
