Berlin government to give EUR 71m to Lufthansa and Deutsche BA

Berlin, Germany - As compensation for losses post September 11

The two German airlines Lufthansa and Deutsche BA are going to receive EUR 71m from the Berlin government as a support against the losses they suffered after September 11, 2001, attacks. Partly financed by the German ministry of Transports, partly by the ministry of Finances, Eur 70m will reach Lufthansa's cash box and the remaining EUR 1m Deutsche BA's one. (007)
