HEATHROW TRIALS DEVICE TO REDUCE NOISE AND POLLUTION
LONDON, A "pre-conditioned air (PCA)" device is being tested at terminal 4 of London's Heathrow airport in order to reduce at least fifty percent of noise and emissions produced from aircraft on their stands. The new equipment will mean less use of Auxiliary Power Units to reduce fuel burn, exhaust emissions and noise.
