NORTHWEST DC-10 FORCED TO MAKE EMRGENCY LANDING AT GLAGOW AFTER FIRE ALERT ON BOARD

GLASGOW, SCOZIA, A Northwest Airlines DC-10 flying from Washington to Amsterdam was forced to make an emergency landing at Glasgow airport after an indicator light suggested there might have been a fire in the hold. The plane was examined after it landed but no evidence of fire was found.
