NEW CRJ700 REGIONAL JET CERTIFICATED BY TRANSPORT CANADA
CANADA, Bombardier Aerospace has benn awarded Transport Canada's Aircraft Type Certificate for its new 70-passenger CRJ700 Series regional jet. Type Certification was granted Friday, Dec.22, 2000. Type Recommendation from Europe's Joint Airwothiness Authorities (JAA) and Type Approval from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are expected in the near future.
