CARL ICAHN LAUNCH AN OFFER TO HELP TWA

USA, US financier Carl Icahn, launched an offer of 200 USDm to help Trans World Airlines (TWA) to exit from current bankruptcy situation, but his proposal was rejected by a federal judge. Icahn, TWA one-time boss is in competition with American Airlines that has intention to buy TWA in the present situation, in an operation worth 3,5 USDbn to acquire TWA's assets and aircraft leases.
