Greece has finally decided to purchase new F-16 Fighting Falcon multirole light fighters. Greek Air Force will take delivery of 30 new F-16C/D Block 52s in 2009 and the Greek-US agreement is worth about USD 1.99bn, also scheduling options for additional ten combat aircraft of this type.
