FRANCE SELL SUBMARINES TO MALAYSIA AGAINST INCREASE IN MAS FLIGHTS
PARIS, FRANCE, France is planning to sell three submarines to Malaysian navy, worth over 1 USDbn, and, in change, will authorize Malaysian Airline Sytem, MAS, to increase its flight between Kuala Lumpur and Paris from three to seven weekly. The submarines of Agosta class, have been retired by French navy and will be used by Malaysian navy for personnel training.
