Germany founds funds for all A-400M ordered

Berlin, Germany - The acquisition will be in two phases

According to a German government spokesman, it would have found the necessary funds to buy the first 40 Airbus A-400M military transport aircraft, which amount to about 5,1 EURbn, while will be needed further 4,4 EURbn to buy the last aircraft to achieve the expected total of 73. According the UK ministry of Defence, this could provide the basis to activate the 18 EURbn project. (Gio/B)
