Rome, Italy - The third largest international force after US and UK
Italian troops engaged in missions abroad - mainly for peacekeeping - are over 9,000, the third largest international force after Us and UK. The largest contingent is engaged in Kosovo (4200 troops), the rest are in Albania (2330), Bosnia (1360), Afghanistan (780), Macedonia (360), Eritrea (160) and Lebanon (50). (004)
