Us Senate confirmed Mrs Blakey as FAA head
Washington, Usa - The lady who is already NTSB number one
Yesterday Us Senate confirmed 54-year old Marion Blakey as new head at the Federal Aviation Administration. Mrs Blakey, who is going to replace Jane Garvey, is also chairwoman of the National Transportation Safety Board, NTSB. "The aviation industry is facing significant challenges on many fronts and I look forward to joining the FAA without delay", she said. (007)
