The Director General of ENAC (Italian Civil Aviation Authority) Alexander D'Orsogna has been appointed by the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport (MIT) Matteo Salvini as the Ministry's representative to Eurocontrol, the intergovernmental organization responsible for air traffic control at the European level.

From Enac President Pierluigi Di Palma, from the board of directors and from the entire Authority, the warmest congratulations to D'Orsogna for the prestigious appointment within the Provisional Council, composed of the directors of civil aviation of the 42 member States of the intergovernmental organization and the EU delegation.

Among the Council's tasks are implementing overall policy and verifying the execution of decisions taken by Eurocontrol members, the pan-European organization that oversees the harmonious, safe and efficient development of air navigation systems.
