Iraq shot surface-to-air missiles against Us and British fighters
Baghdad, Iraq - Within the "no-fly zone"
Iraq confirmed today that some of its anti-aircraft artillery posts launched yesterday surface-to-air missiles against Us and British combat aircraft in the "no-fly zone". These, sometimes daily, incidents, occur because Iraq doesn't aknowledge the legitimacy of such "no-fly zones" established by Us and Uk's governments after the Gulf War in 1991. (007)
