Berlin, Germany - The new EADS' air tanker has successfully refuelled a Tornado and a F/A-18

The A-310 MRTT (Multi-Role Transport Tanker), the new air tanker produced by EADS on the basis of the Airbus A-310 transport airplane, has performed its first in-flight refuelling, so achieving a major goal for the evolution of the Airbus Military industrial segment. This aircraft has refuelled two different airplanes, that is to say a Tornado and a F/A-18 Hornet without showing particular aerodynamics...
