United Airlines receives approval for modification of job contracts
New York, Usa - By its pilot and its flight assistants
US carrier, United Airlines, said it received approval of wage-cut deals from its pilots and its flight assistants. The deals, if approved by the bankruptcy court which is following the carrier’s case, would cut the pilot’s pay by 11,8 per cent and the flight assistants’ pay by 9,5 percent. The deals would consent the carrier to save USD 311m annually, possibly moving the carrier closer to bankrupt’s exit....
