USA CHINA QUESTION: USA RESUMES SURVEILLANCE FLIGHTS ALONG THE CHINESE COAST

CHINA, US Air Force today resumed surveillance flights off chinese coast with an unarmed and unescorted RC-135 electroning monitoring aircraft. The plane followed "a northern track" and avoided Hainan Island, said a senior Pentagon official. The aircraft took off from Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan.
