Space. Engine failure at the second stage of the Soyuz rocket
No problem for the two astronauts, that returned to Earth -VIDEO
During the launch from the Bayqoñyr Cosmodrome of the Soyuz MS-10 launch vehicle with the new crew of the International Space Station (ISS), an engine failure occurred shortly after take-off, specifically during the separation of the first stage and the ignition of the engine of the second stage. The two astronauts on board -the US Nick Hague and the Russian Alexeï Ovtchinine- are alive and have landed in Kazakhstan from where they left at 10:40 am -Central European Summer Time-, after the carrier rocket entered in the ballistic descent mode.
