The "flying man" fails to attempt to cross the English Channel
Franky Zapata fell into the sea -VIDEO
Franky Zapata, the Frenchman known as the "flying man", failed to cross the English Channel on his "Flyboard", a turbulent board of his invention powered by a tank placed in his backpack, filled with fuel like aircraft. He fell into the water a few minutes after leaving the French coast, he was immediately rescued by divers and he is now fine, but it is not yet known whether a new test will be made. His goal was to reach Saint Margaret's Bay, exactly 110 years after the first transporter Louis Bleriot.
Zapata has given rise to much debate about himself for performing a demonstration flight in front of the French President Emmanuel Macron on July 14th during the military parade for the Bastille Day.
