Brazil extends restrictions for foreigners: other 30 days
This measure does not concern air links
Another 30 days and the reason is always the same: new extension formalized by the government of Brazil regards the restrictions on connections with the South American nation. In short, there will still be limits to foreign countries entering this territory both by land and by water. The people who deal with these restrictions are those of non-Brazilian nationality who move within the national territory in these two ways. The goal is easily understood; in fact, attempts are being made to limit infections from Covid-19 as much as possible and the extended measure has been included in what is the equivalent of our Official Gazette. Conversely, foreign travelers who have to travel to Brazil and use airplanes do not have to be subjected to the same limitation.
As reported by local media, in fact, in Brazilian airports the arrival of people from abroad is managed in a way that is considered optimal, with further flexibility introduced in the last few hours. In practice, the passenger no longer needs to have health insurance. Borders "erected" by Brasilia in this difficult health period have to do with all the South American states, with the exception of Chile and Ecuador. Latest data speak of almost 5 million infections in this area of the world and over 146 thousand victims due to covid.
