American Airlines "transfers" flights to Daxing Airport
Beijing airport chosen for 2021 connections
Ten million passengers in just one year of life: Beijing-Daxing international airport exists from exactly twelve months, but it can already boast impressive numbers (read also the article published by AVIONEWS), so it's not a surprires if main international carriers are relying on this airport. Latest and most emblematic example is those of American Airlines, a company that intends to "transfer" its connections to this Chinese airport. Among other things, there is also a very specific date for this important decision; in fact, from next 27 March, the service linking Dallas with the former celestial empire will be back active and Daxing will be the reference airport.
Starting today, Monday October 12, 2020, flights in question can be purchased and it has already been established that the aircraft to be used will be the B-787/8. As the American airline pointed out through one of its spokespersons, Beijing-Daxing is at the forefront and there is also the possibility of sharing the same hub with a strategic partner such as China Southern Airlines. Before flights were suspended due to the covid-19 pandemic, the United States and southern China were connected via the Beijing Capital and Shanghai-Pudong airports.
