Phenom 300E aircraft: NetJets doubles and signs for another 100
For Embraer, an agreement of over 1.2 billion dollars
A new agreement was announced today between Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer and NetJets, an American company specializing in timeshare business aircraft. The contract specifically concerns the aircraft currently most in demand for the US operator's business, namely the Phenom 300 model: after receiving over one hundred units, it doubles by signing the extension of the previous order for a further 100 ones, for a value that exceeds 1.2 billion US dollars. As part of the agreement, NetJets will begin taking delivery of them starting in the second quarter of 2023, at both its locations in America and Europe.
The Embraer Phenom 300E is a twin-engine business jet capable of carrying 6 to 10 passengers, plus pilot and possible co-pilot, with a flight range of 3724 km. The speed of the plane is such that it is able to reach Mach 0.80. It is equipped with state-of-the-art technology such as the Synthetic Vision System (SVS) to provide the pilot with greater situational awareness, and the Runway Overrun Warning and Detection System (ROAAS), the first technology of its kind to be developed and certified in business aviation, the manufacturer reports it.
