Avolon orders a further 100 A-321neo aircraft

Taking its total order for this model to 190 units

Avolon, the international leasing company, has signed a firm order for 100 A-321neo aircraft, taking its total order for this model to 190 units.

With this latest agreement, Avolon’s total firm order-tally directly from Airbus rises to 632 airplanes, and includes A-320, A-330 and A-350 Families. In September, the leasing company ordered 20 A-330neo planes to take advantage of growing global widebody demand.

The A-321neo is the largest member of its A-320neo Family. By incorporating new generation engines and Sharklets, this model brings a noise reduction and fuel savings and CO₂ reduction. To date more than 5,600 units have been ordered by more than 100 customers across the globe.
