Strikes in three Italian airports on Sunday 12 May

International flights at risk; folded arms for four hours by various categories of workers

A four-hour strike was called on Sunday 12 May 2024 in three Italian airports. Arms folded from 1pm to 5pm for various categories of workers at the Milanese airports of Malpensa and Linate, and Verona. The three different union protests will create inconvenience for travelers returning from the weekend through international flights. The mobilizations are called by the Fast-Confsal, Fit-Cisl trade unions and by the Company trade union representation.

The air traffic controllers of the Italian flight assistance company (Enav) of Malpensa airport are mobilised, as well as the Enav-Techno Sky staff of the "Enrico Forlanini" airport of Linate, and the workers of the GH Italia company which takes care of the handling services at the "Valerio Catullo" airport of Verona-Villafranca. As always, the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (Enac) has published the list of flights guaranteed in that time slot.
