Several airlines have suspended flight connections

Following Israel's attack on Iran, the Israeli ministry of transport and road safety announced that the airspace over its own country and the enemy's is closed to take-offs and landings until further notice; all flights from Tel Aviv's "Ben Gurion" airport are canceled. Iraq, whose air traffic is completely suspended, is one of the busiest air corridors in the world, with aircraft crossing Europe and the Gulf. The Jordanian Civil Aviation Authority has also closed its airspace to all flights.

Israel's national carrier El Al Airlines said it had suspended flights to and from Israel, with some planes rerouting to their original airports or heading to Cyprus and Greece. Israir and Air India also took similar action, with flights from New York, Vancouver, Chicago and London being returned to their original airports. Lufthansa has cancelled all flights to and from Tehran, and Aeroflot has cancelled flights between Moscow and the Iranian capital, as well as changing other routes in the Middle East. flydubai has suspended all flights to Amman, Beirut, Damascus, Iran and Israel, with others canceled, diverted or returned to their original airports. Air France has also suspended flights to and from Tel Aviv; Emirates has suspended flights to Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Iran.
