Brief from Italy. To facilitate the return to Italy of Italian nationals currently in Israel, the Crisis Unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is coordinating the organisation of a charter flight departing from Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt) on 22 June, with arrival scheduled in Verona.

Italian citizens registered on the “Dove Siamo nel Mondo” portal and the “Viaggiare Sicuri” app will receive an SMS containing a link to a form to express their interest.

This is a facilitation initiative and includes transport from Tel Aviv or Jerusalem to Sharm El Sheikh Airport in Egypt, followed by a flight to Italy. A total financial contribution of EUR 500 per adult passenger is required. All costs and responsibility for the journey are to be borne by the individuals concerned. Once the contribution has been paid, it will be non-refundable. The flight is reserved for Italian citizens and their family members holding an Italian passport or a passport issued by another European Union country.
