SAC (2): flight operations at Catania airport restored

Arriving and departing flights have resumed in complete safety

SAC, the management company of Catania Airport, announces that, following the intervention of the competent authorities and the complete extinguishing of the fire that broke out near the airport, flight operations have been fully restored.

Since the reopening of the airport, both arriving and departing flights have resumed, under conditions of full safety for passengers and airport operators.

The company nevertheless advises travelers to check the status of their flight directly with the airline or through the official airport channels.
