With 100 days to the historic milestone, a commemorative video and the new centenary logo were unveiled

American Airlines is preparing to celebrate its 100th anniversary with a series of initiatives that combine luxury with the airline's historical heritage. As of yesterday, as announced by the carrier, the newly signed partnership with the historic Champagne Maison Bollinger is in effect, and Bollinger will be served in lounges and onboard aircraft on international routes.

The collaboration with Bollinger, a prestigious family-run house founded in 1829, aims to elevate the travel experience, the airline said. The famous special cuvée will be offered as a welcome in Flagship lounges at the Dallas-Fort Worth, Miami and Chicago-O'Hare airports, and will then be extended to Los Angeles and Philadelphia in the following weeks. Starting next month, the celebrated champagne will be served exclusively onboard Flagship First and Flagship Business cabins on flights to and from Paris-"Charles de Gaulle", with progressive expansion to all international routes.

This initiative is part of a year of celebrations. With just 100 days to the historic milestone, the airline is already looking ahead to its 100° birthday, which will fall on April 15, 2026. For the occasion a celebratory video and a new centennial logo were unveiled, which incorporates the infinity symbol to represent the commitment to "care for people on their journey through life for the next 100 years and beyond...".
