Denmark: one-hour blockade at Aalborg airport
The airspace above the airport has been closed due to the suspected presence of drones

Aalborg airport in Denmark halted operations for about an hour last night, starting at 11:40 pm local time. "The airspace above the airport was reopened at 12:35 am (10:35pm Gmt) on Friday after being closed due to suspected drone activity", Danish police wrote on "X".
According to the newspaper "Politiken", the police said they were unable to verify whether drones were present in the area. The head of the force also added that the airport itself decided to suspend operations as a precaution: "Based on the suspicion that emerged today, they decided to close the airport briefly for an hour. So we were out there searching intensively with the forces at our disposal, but we were unable to verify anything. And that's why the airport decided to reopen".
Air traffic in Aalborg had also been blocked the previous night, again due to unknown unmanned aircraft detected in the airspace (see AVIONEWS).
