Italian Enac: its general director D'Orsogna meets EASA Executive Director Guillermet
At the headquarters of the European Aviation Safety Agency; several topics were addressed

The Director General of ENAC (Italian Civil Aviation Authority) Alexander D’Orsogna, accompanied by the Deputy Director General Fabio Nicolai, met today, in Cologne, with the Executive Director of EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) Florian Guillermet, the Director of Flight Standards Francesco Gaetani and the Director of Safety Management, Sustainability and Global Outreach Maria Nieves Rueda Garcia.
Several topics were discussed during the visit: the standardization of rules, international cooperation, the development of the partnership between EASA and ENAC, technological innovation and the transport of large pets in the cabin, alongside their owners.
The Executive Director Guillermet outlined the Agency's future projects, which foresee an ever greater commitment to flight safety, while not overlooking the opportunities offered by technological innovation and sustainability.
The DG D’Orsogna, appreciating the clarity of the presentation, renewed the Authority's full support for the Agency's initiatives, guaranteeing the commitment of the entire Authority to the implementation of EASA's important strategic projects and of the whole aviation sector.
