ELT Group and D-Orbit signed a strategic cooperation framework

In support of Saudi Vision 2030 objectives

ELT Group, a global reference in Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, and D-Orbit, a pioneering company in the space logistics and in‑orbit services sector, have established a strategic cooperation framework aimed at fostering long‑term collaboration in the space domain.

The signing was formalized within the context of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives, with the purpose of creating a stable and coherent basis for joint activities aligned with national priorities for technological development, industrial growth, and localization.

The Saudi Ministry of Investment sponsored the agreement signing ceremony, highlighting –with the presence of a representative of the Minister- the importance of the initiative.

The agreement outlines a shared commitment to jointly assess and pursue business development opportunities, while strengthening industrial and technological cooperation in key capability areas, including RF spectrum monitoring, extensive cyber capabilities, satellite platforms, and in‑orbit services, with specific reference to the Kingdom. By leveraging their complementary expertise and assets, the two parties aim to contribute to the development of an advanced and resilient space ecosystem capable of supporting both institutional and commercial requirements.

Enzo Benigni, Chairman and CEO of Elt Group comments “For ELT Group, space represents the new frontier of information superiority backed by RF monitoring, surveillance and intelligence systems. The collaboration with D‑Orbit allows us to accelerate this path by integrating our advanced capabilities in electromagnetic spectrum analysis and cyber intelligence with next‑generation orbital platforms. Together, we can contribute to building a space infrastructure that not only meets the objectives of Vision 2030, but also strengthens the Kingdom’s ability to generate, protect, and enhance strategic data from space. This agreement confirms ELT Group’s commitment to being a key technological partner in orbital missions and services".

Luca Rossettini, CEO of D-Orbit Group said “Space is becoming an increasingly strategic domain for national security, resilience, and technological sovereignty. This cooperation framework with ELT Group brings together complementary capabilities across advanced sensing and spectrum awareness, cyber, and orbital infrastructure domains, enabling the development of space-based services designed to support secure communications, situational awareness, and data integrity. By working together and in alignment with the Kingdom’s national priorities, we aim to contribute to the development of trusted, locally anchored capabilities that strengthen long-term operational readiness while supporting the growth of a competitive domestic space industry".

A central component of the framework is the exploration of industrial cooperation models consistent with Saudi national localization policies. These include initiatives related to local manufacturing, the transfer of strategic technologies and capabilities, and the development of domestic industrial and technological competencies. In this context, ELT Group and D‑Orbit — also through their respective Saudi entities, Elettronica for Industry LLC and D‑Orbit Saudi LLC — are strategically positioned to support future space‑related activities in the Kingdom, in alignment with national industrial development objectives and with a view to addressing both domestic needs and potential export markets.

The foreign direct investment envisaged under this cooperation, encompassing manufacturing capabilities and the sharing of strategic know‑how, is expected to contribute to strengthening Saudi Arabia’s competitiveness in the global space sector.
