KEO SATELLITE COULD REMAIN IN ORBIT FOR 50.000 YEARS

PARIS, KEO satellite, expected to launch next year, could be in orbit until 52001. Projected by french researchers, this satellite will be able to receive messages via electronic mail, recording them all on CD-ROM. The messages will be freely accessible, in their original language, in the internet.
