ENGINEERS AND TECHNICIANS SHORTAGE THREATENS SPACE SHUTTLE SAFETY

WASHINGTON, The report from the GAO, Governement Accounting Office, said "workforce reductions are jeopardizing NASA's abiility to safely support the shuttle's planned flight rate". NASA spokesman Dwayne Brown said the agency has made serious efforts to hire more skilled emplyees.
